In May 2010, the new bag-big machine was installed in " Volskcement". This is a very useful upgrade that will allow us to open up new horizons on the market and conquer new sub-segments. It is extremely convenient that the big-bag machine is set up in such a way that practically any cement can be loaded: SRPC400D20, SRPC500D20, and PC500D0N. Moreover, the printing facility is universal - right there on the site the cement can be specified in the checkbox.

There are certain areas far from large populated towns/cities where it's inconvenient to set up silos, but significant projects are being built nevertheless. In these cases constructors prefer to use big bags instead of bags due to many reasons, including theft. To handle a 1000 kg bag is a bit harder than a 50 kg one.

We have been missing such market in West Kazakhstan completely. Novotroizk cement alone was consistently supplying that region with big bags and now we have product that allow us to compete.

Even before we had the machine in place, some of our Customers had made prepayments to make sure they receive our 500D0 in big-bags first. Many Russian regions, from Moscow to Orenburg, have expressed the willingness to buy our big-bags as well.

The installation of the 2nd big-bag machine in Volskcement gave an opportunity on the oilwell cement segment as well. Having a stable share of the most profitable API cement, our oilwell sales team can now offer a GOST oilwell cements in addition.

This allows enlarging the existing Customer base, covering those who could not afford the premium priced API cement.

Now there is a great challenge and an excellent opportunity with offering our Clients a wider variety of product assortment and packaging. It allows us to compete where we could not before.
