Guillermo Brusco is appointed the CEO of Holcim (Russia)

Communication Department of Holcim in Russia announces that Gustavo Navarro leaves the position of the CEO Holcim (Russia). The Company expresses sincere gratitude to Mr. Navarro for his contribution into development of the business and wishes him success in further career opportunities.

On July 1st, 2014 Guillermo Brusco is appointed the CEO of Holcim (Russia). His responsibility will cover the questions of strategic development of Holcim Group companies in Russia. Mr.Brusco has mature management capabilities based on a strong technical background. Thus he will also focus on the Company key aspects - OH&S, customer orientation and technical efficiency of Holcim plants in Russia.

Guillermo Brusco was born on January 15th, 1964 in Argentina. He graduated from National University of Cordoba, Argentina with master degree in civil engineering. He is also alumnus of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School. Guillermo holds MBA from Bournemouth University, UK. From his work start in 1988 and till joining Holcim Mr. Brusco built his career from site engineer in BRUSCO & LASCANO (Argentina) to Department of Projects and Tenders Manager in CORVIAM, S.A. (Spain).

In Holcim Guillermo started his career in 1988 holding various positions in Cement Manufacturing in Venezuela, US and Italy. Starting 2003 he served as Plant Manager at Ramos Arizpe Plant, Mexico, and in six years was appointed Operations Vice President Holcim (Argentina).

The total occupational life in cement industry is more than 15 years.

Married, has got 2 children.
