Holcim Supported Kolomna Sportsman’s Motorbike School

Holcim in Russia supported the project of Alexey Naumov’s motorbike school for children. Alexey Naumov is the Master of sports of international class, the medalist of the World Cross-Country Rallies. Swiss group allocates 1 MIO RUR on the development of children's sport in Kolomna.

The racer from Kolomna presented the idea of founding his own motorbike school in 2012. The first partners of this project became "Socio-economic newspaper Espresso" and transportation enterprise “Autokolonna 1417”, which provided a bus, equipped with everything necessary for transportation of young athletes to trainings and competitions. Besides, other necessary equipment was purchased for the students of the motorbike school.

Holcim (Rus) CM supports Alexey Naumov’s motorbike school, providing funding as social investments, which are aimed at supporting and developing children's sports in Kolomna. A formal agreement was signed on June 20, 2013. Financial support will be used for purchasing equipment for the pupils of the school and also for other organizational issues (participation in events, competitions, trainings).

The project of the motorbike school corresponds with the concept of Holcim social investments. Alexey Naumov pursues noble objectives. It’s gratifying that such enthusiastic sportsmen like Alexey strive for more and are willing to spend time on social projects and cultivate in children positive attitude to healthy lifestyle, strong will and courage, which are the qualities of real men and Motherland defenders.”

Alexey Naumov is a world-class motorcycle rider, the winner of the World Cup Cross-Country Championship (Production class 450), the first Russian racer who reached the finish line in Rally Dakar 2011 Argentina-Chile. Alexey was born, lives and trains in Kolomna, Moscow region. In 2012 he founded his own motorbike school for children.
